I have some tips 
Your forums are unorganized (this could drive potential users from joining). The best way to organize the forums are to put similar forums into Categories.
If I were to organize the forum, it would be like this:
Pokemon Special
-PS Bulletin Board (Rules, Announcements, Updates)
-General Chat (merge personal,books, movies, music into here)
Pokemon Game Discussion
-RBGY
-GSC
-FRLG
-RSE
-DPP
-HGSS
-BW
-Upcoming games
Pokemon General Discussion
-Pokemon General Discussion
-Spin-off Game Discussion
